This has been the worst winter I have ever experienced. It’s been unbelievably cold with strong winds making it worse. We’ve had more freezing rain than I can remember. And snow…don’t get me started! Aw, sorry you’re having such a nasty winter! And here I am complaining because it’s only going to be in the 50s this weekend instead of the 70s we’ve had this week.

I can imagine how sick of it you are, it was like that in Scotland in 2010 when we had snow for 5 months, it really got to me after a while. I hope it warms up for you soon, just remember that spring is definitely on the way and it will arrive eventually! I hope you have a nice long summer to make up for it.
I hope so too although I would prefer a permanent summer! Yes 5 months of snow can really wear you down. We actually had a nice day yesterday, blue sky, no wind and a lovely path courtesy of several people with snow shoes. But alas, today it’s back to freezing rain…
The lengths you go to make sure that your dog has his walks; he is very fortunate. It is most discouraging for sure. Spring is coming, you have to believe that.
Spring better be coming and bringing summer along with it! Thank goodness we can go out for tea and coffee and laugh about it!
