About that doodling gal…

Hi! I’d like to tell you a bit about myself and this blog. I’m a realist artist who specializes in animals, mostly horses and dogs. But this blog isn’t about my paintings it’s only what I create on my android tablet.  I’m not sure if I can say the names of these companies without getting their permission but I think I’ll contact them to see what they say. I recently found a great drawing & painting app for tablets after searching for months. I have to use a stylus for tablets which is different from a stylus I use on a laptop. The computer stylus has a fine point while the tablet stylus point is huge. To me it’s like drawing with the end of my finger. I haven’t been able to master the art of using my finger on tablets or phones. Anyway I didn’t think I was going to like it but after a while I just doodled without any direction and came up with all these “doodles”. And I had fun! In the future I will post some photos of the stylus that I use and the apps that work for me in case anyone is interested.

Oh and if anyone knows of a tablet stylus with a fine tip please let me know about it!

And I don’t have purple hair.

  1. I would love to know more about this drawing onto computers and tablets. Do you have some photos and info about your stylus? This is all new to me but I’d be very interested to learn about it. I think your drawings are wonderful!

    • I was hoping someone would ask me about that! I’ve been meaning to set up a page section on my blog about the materials I use. It will take me a while to get that up and running but in the meantime I’ll get some information together for you. Bye for now!

  7. Thank you for the likes, and I’m pleased that you did find me. Thank you also for the kind words. I’m very lucky to have those two dogs and one day I’ll tell the stories of how they found us. I love your illustrations and I particularly like the one with the little dog staring at the teeth in the glass.
    Be well.
